Our Annual Meeting of the Association went well, and we elected some new board members. Below is a list of the Prairie Village Homes Association Board of Directors:

We also welcomed Wes Jordan, Chief of Police for the City of Prairie Village who gave a safety presentation for the residents that were in attendance.
* Spoke about crime and tips to help keep our neighborhood safer
* Leave outside lights on at night; lock doors (house and cars)
* Identify serial numbers of electronics
* Know your neighbors - makes it easier to identify who doesn't belong in the neighborhood
* Crime Prevention Officer (Matt Boggs) will come and look at your house (for free) and identify weak spots
* House Watch Program (free) where officers will watch your home while you are out of town
* D.A.R.E. Program still active
* Non-emergency number, 24hours per day - 913.642.5151

Please join us for our upcoming Annual Meeting on Saturday, February 25 at 9:00am at the Prairie Village Community Center. We will elect members to the board during this time. Please watch for your ballot in the upcoming newsletter (to be mailed to your home). Donuts & coffee will be served.
